Facilitator’s Manual
The 78-page facilitator’s manual helps group leaders guide discussion and activities that allow participants to connect with each other, access culturally relevant resources and information, and challenge barriers to women from living in peace, dignity, and respect. The facilitator’s manual contains material in both English and Spanish. In the Tácticas de control: La vision de la mujer DVD, Six Latina women who have been battered describe how tactics on the Power and Control Wheel were used against them, and discuss the impact of abuse on their children, their relationships, and themselves. The DVD is in Spanish and edited into separate segments for each theme.
The curriculum was produced jointly by Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs and Casa de Esperanza.
